Saluki Startup & Weeks of Welcome

Saluki Startup gives new students an opportunity to engage with one another and take part in campus activities. You will be given the tools to enhance your academic, social and cultural experiences.  Events will be updated during the summer. 

Weeks of Welcome (WOW) offers all new and returning students programs and events that allow them to connect with peers, faculty, staff, campus departments and community organizations.  

Saluki Sprint

Take part in SIU's long-standing tradition of welcoming students to the Saluki Family!  All of the incoming class is invited to "sprint" across the field at Saluki Stadium before the first home football game!

Saluki Superfan is SIU’s app to check-in at events on campus, and earn points for prizes. The app is available in Google Play and the App Store. Events will be listed on the app and all the information you’ll need will be in each event listing.

To download Saluki Superfan App
1. Download the Saluki Superfan app from The App Store or Google Play.
2. Make sure to fill out all your account information to be able to check-in to events.
